Comprehensive Vegetation Management for Commercial Properties and Large Acreage

Managing vegetation across large or complex landscapes requires a solution that is efficient, adaptable, and environmentally responsible.

Our contract grazing services provide a proven, low-impact approach to controlling vegetation on commercial properties, ski areas, solar/utility corridors, municipalities, land trusts, and private acreage.

Using targeted grazing techniques, our livestock naturally clear brush, grasses, and invasive species—even on steep slopes and difficult terrain where traditional equipment is costly, unsafe, or ineffective. This method reduces reliance on herbicides and heavy machinery while supporting healthier soil and long-term operation sustainability.

We work closely with property managers, landowners, and operations teams to develop customized grazing plans tailored to your site’s unique needs. Whether maintaining recreation areas, managing right-of-ways, improving visibility, or reducing wildfire fuel loads, our services scale to meet the demands of large acreage projects.

Our comprehensive approach includes site evaluation, secure electric fencing and GPS NoFence collars, active and responsive grazing management, and 24/7 automated GPS monitoring to ensure consistent, high-quality results. The outcome is manageable land—achieved through a quiet, traditional method that matches with modern environmental and operational goals.

For commercial properties seeking a smarter alternative to conventional vegetation control, targeted grazing offers a practical, sustainable solution.

Targeted Grazing Services

Our GPS-monitored flock goes above and beyond to help homeowners and residential property owners manage unwanted vegetation with precision and care.

Using targeted grazing techniques, our goats and sheep naturally control undesirable and problematic plant species—without the need for chemicals, loud equipment, or disruptive landscaping methods. And they’re darn cute as they do it !

Whether you’re dealing with overgrown brush, invasive plants, or simply want a low-impact way to maintain your yard, our grazing services provide an efficient and eco-friendly solution. The flock is carefully managed and GPS monitored 24/7 throughout the process, ensuring optimal coverage while protecting desirable plants and maintaining the integrity of your landscape.

Because our animals can access tight spaces, uneven ground, and sensitive areas, they’re ideal for properties where traditional mowing or machinery isn’t practical. The result is a cleaner, healthier property achieved with minimal disturbance to your daily life.

From small backyards to larger residential lots, we tailor each grazing plan to meet your specific needs. With our innovative approach, you get effective vegetation control and a sustainable alternative that works in harmony with the environment.

How Our Grazing Process Works:

Site Evaluation

1

We work with you to help you develop a set of vegetation management goals and provide you a quote for meeting them with our flock.

Custom Grazing Plan

2

Based on target vegetation, infrastructure (fencing, water, shelter), and unique site considerations (grades, wetlands, buildings) we design a grazing plan specific to each client and location.

Fenced and Geo-fenced Managed Grazing

3

Next our flock arrives on site and gets to work. We visit the flock and perform health checks daily while managing their grazing areas with NoFence GPS collars and/or ElectroNet electric fencing.

Return?

4

We aim to build relationships with our clients and the land we graze.

Annual grazing can offer an ancient and sustainable solution to managing your land on an ongoing basis.

Additionally, some targeted grazing of nuisance species or brush clearance may require follow-up visits later in the season or in following years to properly meet the vegetation goals of the project.
